Why is a grappling hook important? A grappling hook means not only exploration, but fluid, exciting and efficient exploration. Experience a mysterious and gorgeous world by the creators of Torchlight and Torchlight II in Hob: The Definitive Edition. This is the first time Hob has come to Switch, and you’ll be experiencing it with improved performance and new features including touch screen support and HD Rumble. Influence the world by solving puzzles as you try to repair this planet. While solving puzzles players will also befriend and battle the planets inhabitants. Explore, change, and try to save the world of Hob before it’s inhabitants are extinct!

Can you hear it? That’s the sound of another awesome couch co-op game being featured in our spotlight! Control two astrobots on your own or grab a pal and try to escape a lonely, abandoned mining planet. These mining robots have been stranded, so they might as well explore and mine until their batteries die! Pitfall Planet features hours of challenges as you progress through levels that require the mastery of the joycons or incredible teamwork.

The Perfect Title award: OVERWHELM

Seriously, the gameplay and mechanics in OVERWHELM aren’t messing around. In this horror platformer, beating bosses means you’re gonna have a bad time. After you defeat each boss, the enemies will get stronger, but you never will. One hit means death, and three deaths mean you’ll have to restart your run. Reminiscent of classic Megaman games, you’ll be able to pick the order you face your bosses in, adding an extra layer of difficulty, customization, or maybe torture. Did we mention there’s an exclusive co-op mode only on Switch?

But wait, there’s more!

For the full list of games, check out the Nintendo Switch eShop for tons of exciting titles. Let us know what games we missed. Which of these new titles are you most excited to play this weekend?
