Make sure to check back every Friday for our corny, totally fake awards to some of our most anticipated Switch titles this week.
Best Bartending Game Since Tapper award: VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action
In a world where corporations are king and human life is oppressed, take the role as bartender to try to make your clients’ lives a little bit easier. Explore a rich story full of branching paths dependent on the drinks you serve your guests. Only by learning your clients’ tastes will you learn the most about this dystopian society, or just maybe you’ll change their lives.
Earth’s Fate is in Your Hands, Unless the Switch is Docked award: Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut
If you’re into space combat and have already tried Starlink: Battle for Atlas …. heck, even if you haven’t tried Starlink, give Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut a try. I’m not your mother, I’m just a dude behind a computer recommending cool things. Anyway, in this week’s cool thing, you’ll hop in awesome space fighter crafts known as the Strike Suit and engage in intergalactic war along with your fleet. Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut features a vivid and colorful galaxy to explore along with customizable ships and weapons and of course epic space battles. More than 4,000 people backed this game on Kickstarter back in 2012, so hop in your awesome spacecraft and join the fleet!
This Week’s Couch Co-Op Spotlight: The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse
Explore the charming and cartoonish world of The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse. You will play as a hero of legend, calling a new hero after each death. Any choices or failures made as one hero will impact the journey of your heroes following. This game will keep you busy for hours of entertainment with not only main story dungeons and missions, but also plenty of side missions and dark caverns to explore! Learn amazing skills and find awesome gear such as a vinyl record Frisbee. Or summon a giant foot from above in your quest to slay the evil Mormo. To add an extra layer of goodness, The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse is of course a couch co-op game. You can adventure alone, but if I’ve learned anything from the epic adventure duo Link and Zelda, it’s dangerous to go alone.
But wait, there’s more!
For the full list of games, check out the Nintendo Switch eShop for tons of exciting titles. Let us know what games we missed. Which of these new titles are you most excited to play this weekend?
