Fantastic Fighting Fun-Time award: Skullgirls 2nd Encore

The popular fighting game Skullgirls is now available on Nintendo Switch! In this enhanced edition Skullgirls 2nd Encore includes all available DLC characters and a fully voiced story mode. Originally released in 2012 Skullgirls quickly became a cult classic among fighting game fans. Skullgirls 2nd Encore features a rich soundtrack by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night composer Michiru Yamane. With the creative direction of a fighting tournament champion, this exciting title is a must play for fans of the genre.

A Revolutionary Port award: Lethis – Path of Progress 

Lethis – Path of Progress, Plug In Digital

Embark on an adventure into steampunk-simulation paradise in Lethis – Path of Progress. Players will guide the empire of Lethis through an Industrial Revolution and massive urbanization period. Play through 26 mission campaign mode or an endless sandbox mode for unlimited opportunities. With three difficulty modes, there are opportunities for every skill level. Although Lethis – Path of Progress  was originally released in 2015 on PC, Switch players will have an enhanced user interface perfect for the Switch.

This Week’s Couch Co-Op Spotlight award: Soul Searching

Get lost in the narrative and world of Soul Searching, a top-down survival adventure game with a deep single player campaign and multiplayer capabilities. Encounter strange beasts and unique characters across various islands. Explore a nearly endless ocean while pondering deep themes including isolation, growing up, and a search for meaning. As this week’s Couch Co-Op Spotlight, players can also work together in groups of four players on randomly generated maps.
