Switch eShop Spotlight: 11-8-19

The highly reviewed mystery drama Tokyo Dark is being released on Nintendo Switch this week. Play as Ayami Ito, a detective searching for her missing partner. Don’t take this game at face value: players will be faced with tough decisions as well as deep mystery. Throughout the game players will make choices that will affect how other characters react to Ito and what other opportunities will be open to the player later. With 13 different endings and rated very positive on Steam, Tokyo Dark is a great addition to any thrill-seeker’s Switch library.

STAY COOL, KOBAYASHI-SAN!: A RIVER CITY RANSOM STORY, Arc System Works

Stretch out your fingers and get ready for another exciting brawler in the Kunio-kun franchise. Developed by Arc System Works, the publisher of earlier release River City GirlsSTAY COOL, KOBAYASHI-SAN!: A RIVER CITY RANSOM STORY also features the original directors from the series. Follow the story of Masao Kobayashi as he and his new partner Mizoguchi aim to take down an evil organization. Progress through the game carefully as there are 20 different endings you may encounter. It’s up to Kobayashi and Mizoguchi to save the time-space equilibrium in this zaney beat-em-up from a classic Japanese franchise.

Is this game going to be your new calling? Strange Telephone has charming pixel art and is sure to be a strange adventure. Stuck in an unknown world, Jill comes across a strange floating telephone named Graham. With Graham’s aid, Jill can change the world around her by dialing various numbers. Solve puzzles in different ways depending on what numbers you dial into Graham, and help Jill escape. Along with our other featured titles this week, Strange Telephone has multiple endings for players to unlock.
