Make sure to check back every Friday for our corny, totally fake awards to some of our most anticipated Switch titles this week.

This Week’s Couch Co-Op Spotlight award: Bee Simulator

Bee Simulator, Bigben Interactive

Bee Simulator is all we’re buzzing about this week. Explore a charming and vibrant world through the lens of a small bee fighting against extinction. Save your hive from some pesky humans trying to knock down your tree. Your days will be filled with exploring the environment, defeating dangerous insects, and completing missions to help save your home. Also featured as our Couch Co-Op Spotlight this week, Bee Simulator allows for local split screen PVP and a co-op mode.

Post-Apocalyptic Research Adventures award: Some Distant Memory

Some Distant Memory, Way Down Deep

Piece together the mystery of a world before the apocalypse in Some Distant Memory.  Play Professor Zay, an archaeologist joined by her AI companion ARORA. Using ARORA’s skill, you’ll gather information about the past by scanning relics to recreate human memories. With a lovely hand-drawn art style, Some Distant Memory  is sure to be an exciting addition for fans of point-and-click adventure games.

Bonus! Another Couch Co-Op Spotlight award: Sparklite

Sparklite, Merge Games

Explore the world of Geodia and save the world from a overbearing, self proclaimed Baron. Geodia is divided into 5 separate districts, each with gigantic titans working for the Baron. Defeat them by building unique gadgets and mastering new skills. The Baron is corrupting the world with a polluted life energy, creating a decaying environment and dangerous monsters. Sparklite features a procedurally generated map as well as an in depth crafting system to create awesome gear and weaponry. Did we mention the co-op? Of course, our protagonist Ada has a robot sidekick that is perfect for your player two.

But wait, there’s more!
